As far as I can remember, the love for digital art and web design has always been present in my life. Having studied at Western Illinois University in Macomb, IL I started out at first with basic pencil and paper drawings, sketching, painting and product design I moved into designing for digital media while doing my multimedia design courses at W.I.U. Within these courses I learned a range of skills and software including Photoshop, Dreamweaver, and Illustrator, QuarkXpress, Flash, typography, new media and advertising. I went on to work for O.S.A, where I was uptained a position of Graphic Designer and spent my time designing internal and external print advertisements, helping to produce layouts for upcoming shows (inc. Club Dance at the "I Love College Tour", comedy shows concerts, and local bands) through creative flyers, posters and news ads.
After graduating from W.I.U., I obtained an internship with i.c.stars|* which has trained me to work as a program manager, Business Analyst, and Backend Data base processor. But, I decided to pursue a career as a Graphic and Web Designer; designing for the web or creating digital art has always been a passion of mine. The idea of helping to design user interfaces or user experiences of a website for a client and helping them promote their business or product online is a career goal that I can see myself enjoying every day of my life.
